Avoxy AM tablets are presumed to be a fixed-dose antibacterial formulation combining Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid. Amoxicillin is a penicillin-class antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits bacterial β-lactamase enzymes, protecting amoxicillin from degradation and broadening its spectrum of activity.
